Attention of International Conference of Information Commissioners (ICIC) has been drawn towards the impact on implementation of right to information across the globe due to coronavirus.
ICIC is an international body working in the field of right to information across the globe established to monitor, implement and protect RTI.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, ICIC called on all sides concerned to implement RTI as it would be more significant to follow RTI in this situation.
The release seeks to enquire about all activities including procurement process being carried out by public bodies during pandemic period. National Information Commission on the behalf of Nepal is the member of Government Working Group of the ICIC.
