Freedom Forum filed a total of 18 RTI applications with the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and 17 ministries today (September 28).
This initiative is part of FF's celebration of International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI) 2026.
Executive Chief Taranath Dahal filed the applications under Article 27 of Constitution of Nepal and Sections 3 and 7 of Right to Information Act, 2064 seeking information for the purpose of study and analysis.

- Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation
- Ministry of Health & Food Safety
- Ministry of Land Management, Co-operatives, Federal Affairs & General Administration
- Ministry of Women, Children, Gender & Sexual Minorities and Social Securities
The applications sought detailed certified information on appointment of advisors, experts and secretariat staff through political decisions following the formation of new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Through the initiative, FF aims to promote transparency and accountability in government appointments and expenditure and strengthen the government's commitment to good governance.
